SPAGNOL, RONALD ARRIGO Ron was born on August 3, 1934, in New Westminster, BC and passed on October 17, 2012 in Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 78. Ron leaves behind his wife Darlene (nee Adolf) of 42 years. One son Jeffrey (Sandy) of Calgary, two daughters, Stacy Devita of Surrey and Diane Greensides (Bill) of Regina; and grandchildren, Darnell, Daniella, Jessie, Riley and Drake. Ron spent many years employed in the sheet metal industry in Alberta and moved to Kelowna in 1973 where he worked at Western Star Trucks until 1996. His retirement was enjoyed by singing, boating, camping, travelling and developing his innate ability to create beautiful structures of metal and wood. Ron especially enjoyed, in the Italian way, bocce tournies and relished winning against "the girls"! A celebration of Ron's life will be held in late spring of 2013 in the gardens at his home where he lavished exquisite hospitality to all who visited.
